There are many problems and habits for which hypnotherapy can provide genuine help and relief. These include: smoking, weight problems, nail biting, phobias including spiders and flying, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, irrational fears, imagined illness and health fears, stammering, blushing, asthma, migraine, lack of confidence and motivation, underachievement in sport or work and many, many others.
Many hypnotherapists choose to approach problems or habits by converting the problem into a goal. Human beings often find it difficult to deal effectively with problems. They are already too emotionally involved in their problem and have often become used to it - it becomes an accepted habit! The good news about human beings is that they are very good at achieving goals, the more specific the better.
For example, instead of approaching your smoking problem in the negative 'giving up smoking' way, why not set out towards achieving your goal of becoming a permanent non-smoker?
